    Much Hadham Forge Museum

Much Hadham Forge Museum, Grade II*

Our grade II* listed buildings house superb museum displays.

Discover internationally important Tudor paintings, hands-on social history and archaeology, and fascinating stories of the families that lived here. Browse the shelves of our archive room.

The Jean Page Room hosts art exhibitions and craft activities. We are family-friendly, and children just love our House Detective Bags!

We still have the original working forge, and displays explore the craft, mythology and daily life of the village blacksmith.

Schools, pre-schools, clubs and societies are all welcome. We offer guided trails, taught workshops, loan boxes and craft activities.
